This feature request proposes making the Bottom Outer Gap depend on Dock visibility. The dependency only needs to be evaluated when a window is created or when snapping occurs.
Ideally, there would be a toggle to enable or disable this behavior, plus a secondary Bottom Outer Gap value for when the Dock is hidden (“NoDock”). The current value would become Bottom Outer Gap “Docked” (Dock visible by default). When the dependency is disabled, the secondary value should be greyed out, and the primary value should always be respected.
When the dependency is enabled, the applied value is directly determined by Dock visibility and the user’s preference.
In practice, users control the behavior simply by toggling the Dock, which would align nicely with macOS behavior.
