This make window header on inactive tab unreadable, can we invert text color on them
Would be also nice to share background glass effect selection used for Window Switcher with it
tab bar uses dark theme with black font color

Are you using light or dark mode for your system theme? And is your macOS version 26 or below?
26.4, auto-switch, this is light theme, but I supose the reason is background is dark
It was probably caused by the appearance not updating correctly when switching. This has been fixed in 0.14.5. If you still run into issues, please reply.
No change, but it's not the bug in tangrid behavior, I use dark wallpaper (just black color) even with light appearance
So it's just dark text color on dark background problem
I was expecting that it will calculate and invert colors of text dynamicly
Fixed in v0.14.8, The reason is indeed due to the dark wallpaper.
What do you think regarding adding customization option to show only icons without text there?
Are you having too many tabs causing each item to be very narrow?
Sometimes it's highly usable (like for Spotify or browser tabs names), but in most other cases it becomes a little distracting because of additional text on screen
Ideally I would love to see it in vertical orientation because vertical screen estate is most valuable, especially in cramped scenarios, where you tend to prefer tabbed layout. But in such case it becomes to look like another dock alternative, which is excessive
