It would be helpful to have an option that freezes the Dock whenever the Dock preview is active.
When the Dock is set to automatically hide and show, it disappears as soon as the cursor leaves it. This leaves only the floating Dock preview on screen, which feels disconnected and visually awkward.
There is a partial workaround using Fn + Control + F3. It forces the Dock to stay visible, but one app always appears greyed out with its name next to it. This seems to happen because macOS shifts focus during that shortcut. It works, but it is not convenient or visually clean.
A built‑in Tangrid option that keeps the Dock visible while the preview is open would make the interaction smoother and more consistent.
