Support Vim/Emacs motions on Window Switcher with vertical style
AlcateiaOP
Just a quick ctrl+n or ctrl+p to navigate up and down on the list.
The current behavior just types n/p in the search box.

Yeah, totally doable. Just want to clarify: do you mean fixed Ctrl+N / Ctrl+P, or the switcher modifier + N / P?
The switcher modifier can be changed in settings, and if you open it with modifier+Tab, adding Ctrl on top might feel a bit awkward.

Hmmm once the switcher is open and all keys are released, then I wish I could press ctrl+n/ctrl+p to navigate up and down

While holding ⌘ key? 🕵️♂️

I think I can add this. With auto focus search turned off, you’d still need to hold Cmd to keep the panel open, so it would be Cmd + Ctrl + N/P in that case.

Isn't cmd + tab / cmd + shift + tab simpler to navigate with in such case?

Maybe I need to take the design one step further and let users set custom keyboard shortcuts for certain actions, kind of like mouse gestures.
