Sometimes I want to drag and drop items from the active window to an inactive window in a tabbed layout.
Would it be possible to implement a feature where you can switch between active windows by dragging an item onto a tab and waiting a moment?
I’m imagining behavior similar to opening a folder while dragging an item in Finder, entering Mission Control while dragging a window, or switching windows from the Dock while dragging an item.

Do you mean something like dragging a file to a window behind the current one in a tabbed group? I think I can add that.
marvelphOP
Yes.
I want to be able to drag items such as files, text, and images and drop them into the window behind the tab group.
When I hover the cursor over a tab title while dragging and hold it there briefly, I want the window with that title to come to the front.

Updated in 1.0.2, feel free to reply if there are any issues.
marvelphOP
Thank you.
You can now drag and drop items between tabs.
However, if there is a tab in an adjacent space, the screen may switch to that space, preventing you from dropping the item onto the desired tab.

I set the auto select delay to 0.18s when the cursor hovers and stays still. Maybe I should increase it a bit.

I don’t think I explained it very well.
The issue isn’t that the tab switches even if the drag is held for a short time over the tab; rather, it’s that the space switches instead of the tab.
Since this issue occurs when there is a tab in the space adjacent to the current one, I suspect that when you switch tabs (or windows), you are accidentally switching to a tab (or window) located in a different space.

Do you mean the current tab includes windows that aren’t in the current space?
marvelphOP
No.
The tabs from other spaces are not appearing in the current space's tab.
I've attached a video, so please take a look.

Please try version 1.1.0 and see if this bug is gone.
marvelphOP
It doesn't seem to have been fixed yet.
Furthermore, simply dragging the tab itself left or right to reposition it would sometimes cause the space to switch.
I apologize for not being able to provide a reliable step-by-step guide.

Please try v1.1.1 and see if this issue has been fixed

I updated to v1.1.1 but the bug still seems to exist.

If you have steps to reproduce it, that would be a huge help. I can’t reproduce it on my end to verify whether the issue is fixed, so for now I can only keep improving the underlying implementation.
