Since the recent update, Safari.app and Mail.app have consistently been excluded from processing.
They aren’t floating; rather, they appear to be excluded from Tangrid’s management and do not appear in the window switcher.
Safari.app and Mail.app are being ignored

Same with Adobe Illustrator for some reason

When your Mac wakes from sleep or Tangrid restarts, Safari.app and Mail.app may also come under Tangrid’s control (though this does not always happen).
Other apps that may experience similar issues include Fork.app and RapidAPI.app.

Fixed in version 1.2.0. If you still have issues, please reply

I'm trying version 1.2.1, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.

Sorry for the bad experience.
This was an unexpected bug introduced in version 1.1.0. I’ve just pushed version 1.2.2, so please update and let me know if it fixes the issue.

I have verified that Adobe Illustrator works in new version 1.2.2. Please give it a try.
