1.3.4-beta Autoflow prefer tabbed. Does not seem to be working.

I'm on the newest beta. It works really well, except the preferred tabbed option doesn't seem to do anything. Whenever I open a new window, a new tile opens, and I have to move them to a tab group myself. Did you encounter this before?
