[Workspace 1.4.2-beta] Forgets saved layout on restart; doesn't honor target screen any

3 monitors in a row (from left to right): Macbook, Dell ultrawide, Portable monitor; 1 macos space per each

Tangrid forgetting some layout?

  1. Arrange layout/splits as desired
  2. Workspace -> Manage Workspaces -> Update Windows -> Notice the preview shows proper apps and split regions per space (good) -> Update Workspace
    (see first screenshot)
  3. Restart Tangrid
  4. 3rd space merges into 1st space
    (see second screenshot of outcome)

Tangrid not honoring "Target Screen: Any screen"
Can only trigger on my Macbook

Actually, it works on all screens, but very sensitive... mouse cursor has to touch exactly edge of screen. I think we should allow maybe 10px edge target zone or configurable?

Thanks

I noticed there’s no window preview. Did you not give Tangrid permission to take screenshots? That’s not a problem, though. Tangrid supports this. What’s strange is the second image, which doesn’t have the row of app icons at the bottom.

And I'm not quite sure what "3rd space merges into 1st space" means.

Yes, I have preview feature disabled. Sorry for inaccurate wording, I mean that all the windows from 3rd space move to the 1st space. The 1st and 2nd space has windows but 3rd space empties. Thank you

v1.4.4 should have fixed this issue. If you’re still experiencing problems, please let me know.
