Detaching external monitor messes up layout

GuyOP

I generally use an external monitor, when I disconnect it, the majority of windows get shunted to the side of he remaining display (my laptop). Th only fix I've found is to restart tangrid. It's as though tangrid isn't detecting the dimension change or the window layout change.

Something slightly similar happens when I have to change resolution on my main display.

After the monitor is disconnected, the expected behavior is for Tangrid to treat these windows as “Floating window” and take no action. Their placement is determined entirely by macOS.

Does this match what you’re experiencing?

GuyOP

Maybe, the windows generally appear off the display with about half an inch visible on screen, usually a part of the window that I can't grab, this certasinly isn't what ahppens when tangrid isn't running.

Could you share the log?

Should fixed in v1.5.3

GuyOP

This is massively better, I think that this somewhat more complex screen got rather messed up still, see screen 2 in this log. But all in all this is quite usable (unlike the pre-fix version that really required an app exit and a re-run to fix).

v1.5.4 tried restoring the whole space. Let me know if this fixes your issue.
