Switcher fails to open an app in another Space

Y65NGOP

In Tangrid 1.5.9, selecting an app located in another Space through switcher does not complete the switch. A Space-switching animation briefly moves in the opposite direction, the transitioning desktop is covered in black, and the original Space then bounces back into view. This issue exists in the switcher and dock preview as well when Tangrid intends to switch Spaces, and I'm running Tangrid on MacOS 27 beta 6, but beta 5 had the same issue.

Attached is the related log. Additionally, after opening the switcher with Command–Tab, pressing Esc does not dismiss it.

The black-screen issue persists in v1.5.10 unfortunately. Here is a screen recording showing what happened when I tried to switch from discord in Space 1 to chatgpt in Space 2. After the switch, the app name on top-left of the screen changed to chatgpt but the Space change failed. I've also attached the logs produced after recording my screen. I also tested it with AltTab and it worked fine.

This issue has been reported by multiple users, but I haven’t been able to reproduce it locally on macOS 27 beta 6. Please share your macOS 27 build. I’ll need to investigate further.

It's the same beta 6 build. Weird...

v1.6.0 beta is out. Not sure if it fixes the issue, please give it a try.

Y65NGOP

The issue is still here in v1.6.0, but everything else works very well especially the performance. Perhaps I'll wait for a stable release of MacOS 27 to see if it is a system-wide issue.

v1.6.1 should have fixed the issue, it was probably related to Natural scrolling.

I can confirm that the issue has gone in v1.6.1. Thank you for your work!
