Support custom tab order for tab groups

It would be nice to have a setting option or shortcut that allows tab groups to sort their tabs in specific orders, such as alphabetical or grouped by application order. Under the current implementation, tabs are aligned by the order each app starts and you can drag them to reorder. It would be nice to support sorting tab groups alphabetically, or grouping them by application order so that tabs from the same app are placed together.

Besides, when I drag a tab to reorder it, my pointer has to stay carefully in the tab group region, or it triggers the window managing feature. It will then stay in the window managing mode even if I try to drag the tab back to the tab strip. Would it be possible to go back to the tab reordering mode when I drag the tab back to the tab strip?

Maybe add an option to auto group tabs from the same app.

To cancel dragging a tab, simply drop it onto “drop to tabbed.”

Yeah dropping it to the "drop to tabbed" area does cancel the dragging. I was in a scenario where I would like to drag the rightmost tab to, say the leftmost. Whenever my pointer left the tab bar (and drop it to the "drop to tabbed" area), the tab went back to the right and I have to re-drag it again. Would it possible to make tabs behave like browser tabs, where you could drag it off (which enters the window managing mode), then re-drag it onto the tab bar to insert it at the pointer position?

That does seem to be a problem. I think we could make the candidate slots disappear when the tab is dragged back into the tab bar area.
