Even though my screen capture shows it, I'm not pressing Cmd+W - I'm guessing that's what Tangrid emits. Manually pressing Cmd+W in Adobe Illustrator also fails to work.
Expectation: Clicking (x) on Adobe Illustrator tab removes it from tab group when no files are open in it.
Cmd+W is the fallback triggered when the regular close window action in tangrid fails. Let me look into Illustrator.
Illustrator’s traffic light buttons are custom drawn, so they don’t respond to the close command. Cmd+W doesn’t work either. Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to close Illustrator’s main window programmatically yet.
