It's very noticeable that when closing a floating window that the focus window lags on the screen for most of a second. Can anything be done to speed this up?

It's really hard to fix, the window close event only fires after the window's fully closed. I looked into it before but couldn't find a good solution, especially since Jankyborder has the same problem.
