dragging a tab stack between screens breaks

Dragging a stack by dragging the stack grabber, then pressing my keyboard shortcut to switch screens, so far it all looks good, but when I drop the stack, their titles chips all join the new stack, but the windows don't follow, instead they are all left on the original screen, just no longer in a stack.
