remember full screen apps across spaces

GuyOP

When I disconnect my monitor and go back to my laptop display Tangrid does a pretty good job of shuffling windows to rearrange on the laptop screen, but I'm left using the region layout to pick apps and then full screen them. Half a screen is fine on a 4k monitor, but it's too small on the laptop.

Anyway, this works well, but what I find myself doing is switching between spaces regularly and on each the full screen app has returned to its previous size. What I'd like is when I swap to a space, if there had been a full screen app on that space, leave it as full screen when I return. So if I keep swapping between screen with full screen apps, they would both remain full screen.

By "full screen" do you mean filling the entire window, rather than using the "full screen" action from macOS’s green button?

GuyOP

I mean the tangrid "fill screen"

I couldn't reproduce this issue. Can you share the logs?

GuyOP

to be more clear, right now if I switch away from a fill-screen app to another space, and return, that app is not fill-screen any more, I'd like the option to not only leave it fill-screen on that space, but also have up to one fill-screen app on each space.

The current auto-flow mode only allows one fill-screen window each space, and switching spaces won't cancel the fill-screen state. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue where fill-screen gets canceled after switching spaces. Which I need your logs.

I figured out why I couldn't reproduce the issue. The window I was testing wasn't in a tab group, and only windows in a tab group have this problem. It'll be fixed in the next version.

GuyOP

Nice. Thank you.

GuyOP

Though I will admit that space specific full screen apps would still be cool.

WrapperDeveloper

fixed in v1.6.8

GuyOP

the bug is fixed, as is the feature request, thank you.
