I like where this is heading! It seems to mostly work for me if I re-apply the same workspace twice (first apply seems to fail with scattered windows).
I can’t seem to find a pattern to the failure it, but I often get AppleScript fail messages - do I need to enable some kind of accessibility permission?
“Full Restore” seems more reliable for me, but I only have “Desktop 1” for each monitor (no more).

For some reason my Chrome window kicks me out to “Who’s using Chrome?” and also pops Chrome out of the tabgroup. After picking my profile it puts the window back into the proper tabgroup. Maybe something is triggering this and confusing it?

Maybe I need to fix some things on my end before giving proper feedback on functionality, but when it works it feels nice :)
